The Junior Video Editor at Jobtailor works inside an established edit team producing short-form content built for platform-specific formats across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and similar channels. Day-to-day work covers everything from organising media and building timelines to adding music, sound design, subtitles, and motion graphics elements under the guidance of senior editors. The post-production workflow runs through industry-standard tools including Frame.io for review and Lucid Link for collaborative media access.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate design concepts and storyboards into finished social-first edits, working to short turnaround times within a supervised post-production workflow.
• Build and manage proxy workflows, organise project files, and maintain clean timeline structures to support smooth collaborative handovers between editors.
• Add music, sound effects, subtitles, and graphics to cuts, working to platform-specific delivery specifications for each social channel.
• Participate in Frame.io review processes and support media management across Lucid Link as part of the wider post-production pipeline.
• Monitor social media trends and platform algorithm shifts to develop editorial instincts around what drives audience engagement on short-form content.
• Respond to producer and senior editor feedback, implement revisions accurately, and develop new creative and technical workflows as the role grows.

What You Bring

• Hands-on experience editing social content using Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
• A working understanding of digital moving image formats and the delivery requirements of major social platforms.
• Strong organisational and time management habits suited to a multi-project post-production environment.
• Genuine interest in emerging creator talent and the evolving landscape of social video content.
• After Effects and Photoshop experience is a plus, but not a requirement for this position.
