Job Position(s): Hybrid Videographer & Editor: Brand Storytelling Pro
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Experian is hiring a Hybrid Videographer and Editor for its in-house creative studio, based in Portsmouth, England, with hybrid working across its London operation. This role sits within the brand content production team, responsible for shooting, directing talent on location, and delivering edited content across YouTube, Meta, and TikTok. It suits a self-shooting editor who is comfortable owning the full production workflow from pre-production through final delivery without handing off between departments.

About the Role

Experian’s in-house studio functions as a full-service content production unit, producing platform-native video at volume across multiple brand channels. The Hybrid Videographer and Editor role operates across both production and post-production, meaning on any given day you might be on location directing a shoot, then back at the edit suite cutting and grading the previous week’s footage. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, so the expectation is that you hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate camera on location shoots, directing on-screen talent to capture usable performance while managing your own lighting and audio setup.
  • Edit finished content in Adobe Creative Suite, cutting for platform-specific formats including short-form vertical video and long-form YouTube delivery.
  • Take projects through the full post-production workflow, including colour correction, audio mix, motion graphics, and versioning for multiple channels.
  • Incorporate AI-assisted tools into production and editorial processes to improve turnaround times without compromising output quality.
  • Maintain consistent brand storytelling across formats, ensuring visual and tonal continuity from one deliverable to the next.
  • Manage your own project load from brief intake to final asset delivery, coordinating directly with internal stakeholders rather than through a producer layer.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as a self-shooting editor across branded content or commercial video production.
  • Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects for motion work.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates platform-native content production for social video channels, not just broadcast or corporate formats.
  • Confidence directing non-actor talent on location, with the ability to pull usable performance without a dedicated director present.
  • Familiarity with AI tools applied to production or post-production workflow contexts.

Why This Role

Experian operates one of the more established in-house creative studios among UK financial services brands, which means genuine production infrastructure rather than a one-person setup with an inflated title. For a Hybrid Videographer and Editor, the 12-month fixed-term structure offers meaningful credits across a high-output content slate without an indefinite commitment. The hybrid working model gives you access to a proper studio environment while retaining some schedule flexibility.

Apply now for the Hybrid Videographer and Editor position at Experian and bring your production credits to a studio that actually has the output to back the role up.
