About the Role

Moonshot GCV operates across both commissioned commercial content and self-initiated productions, which means the post-production workflow here shifts depending on what is in the pipeline. On any given week, an allround video editor might be cutting a brand spot in the morning and shaping a short-form social piece in the afternoon. The expectation is that you see each project through from rough cut to color grade and sound design without handing it off.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit a varied slate of productions spanning commercial advertising, short-form social content, and original projects developed in-house.
• Build narrative structure from raw footage, applying story logic that works for both short-attention-format content and longer editorial cuts.
• Carry edits through the full post-production workflow, including primary and secondary color grading in DaVinci Resolve.
• Design and implement sound, including dialogue editing, music placement, and sound effects that support the edit rather than decorate it.
• Create motion graphics and visual effects using Fusion or After Effects to enhance edits where the cut alone is not enough.
• Manage your own timeline across multiple concurrent projects, hitting delivery deadlines without supervision.

What You Bring

• Fluency in DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro, with a working knowledge of Fusion or After Effects for compositing and motion work.
• A clear understanding of color science, including the practical difference between primary and secondary grading.
• Experience editing commercial video production and social content formats across different aspect ratios and platform specs.
• A genuine read on current trends in video formats, with the range to adapt your editorial approach to suit the project.
• Residence in the West or East Flanders region of Belgium.
