About the Role

The Editor at Untold Studios works across the full lifecycle of projects, from early pitch involvement through to final delivery, managing the technical and relational demands of each production. Day-to-day work covers maintaining delivery specifications, managing high volumes of deliverables, and keeping post-production workflow running cleanly across concurrent projects. Client communication is a real part of the job, not an afterthought, so expect to be in the room when feedback is being given and acted on.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage online editorial deliverables across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all output meets broadcast and social platform specifications for frame rate, resolution, codec, and colour space.
• Interpret and implement client feedback directly, maintaining clear communication between the editorial team, producers, and coordinators throughout the post-production workflow.
• Set and uphold quality assurance standards within the online department, reviewing all outgoing material before delivery.
• Develop and document best practice workflows that improve efficiency and consistency across the studio’s delivery pipeline.
• Work with producers to track schedules and budgets, flagging risks early and proposing solutions before they become problems.
• Represent Untold Studios at industry events and through professional outreach, contributing to the studio’s presence in the broader production community.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as an Editor or Online Editor within a commercial, branded content, or episodic television environment.
• Deep working knowledge of industry standard post-production software including editorial and colour-adjacent tools used in professional online finishing.
• Comprehensive understanding of camera formats, colour spaces, and delivery specifications across both traditional broadcast and digital platforms.
• A track record of managing large deliverable volumes without compromising on technical quality.
• Strong client-facing communication skills built through real production experience, not just internal team interaction.
