Director, Content Operations

Paramount is hiring a Director, Content Operations for its Pluto TV streaming division, based in Los Angeles. About the Role

The Pluto TV Content Operations team sits at the center of everything that reaches the viewer, functioning as the last technical and editorial gate before content goes live on the platform. This Director, Content Operations position leads the US arm of a global team that also operates in South America and Europe, supporting twelve regional instances and hundreds of content partners each year. A typical day involves tracking delivery schedules with Programming and Content Partnerships, resolving ingestion issues against spec, and building out process improvements that increase throughput without sacrificing quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full US streaming media workflow from partner onboarding through asset delivery, quality control, metadata management, artwork, audio, and publishing to the Pluto TV platform.
• Set and enforce delivery specifications and content standards across hundreds of supply chain partners, ensuring every title ships on schedule and to spec.
• Develop and scale a US-based content operations team, building accountability structures and career paths that retain technical talent.
• Design and implement automation tools using cloud-based infrastructure and data reporting to reduce manual handling across the post-production delivery pipeline.
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for Content Partnerships, Programming, Product, and Marketing, translating business needs into executable workflow decisions.
• Align with International Content Operations leads in Europe and South America to maintain consistent global standards and a unified way of working across all regional instances.

What You Bring

• Proven experience leading content operations or post-production workflow teams within a streaming, broadcast, or digital media environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of video asset management, QC processes, metadata schemas, closed captioning standards, and ad-break authoring at scale.
• Familiarity with cloud-based media supply chain tools and the ability to evaluate, implement, and improve automation across an ingestion pipeline.
• Experience managing cross-functional relationships with programming, partnerships, and product teams in a streaming media context.
• Demonstrated ability to grow and retain a technical team while also managing capacity planning across high-volume content delivery cycles.
