About the Role

The Creative Coordinator, Animated Original Series works directly alongside Animation Executives at Amazon MGM Studios, supporting both development and current series across the animation slate. Day to day, that means tracking pitches, reading submissions, and keeping the pipeline organized as projects move through development into production. You’re the connective tissue between creative, business affairs, legal, marketing, and external partners, which means you need to know what each of those departments actually needs from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the pitch and submission process for incoming animated series projects, maintaining detailed submission logs and tracking materials across all stages of development.
• Provide written notes on submitted pitches, treatments, and episodes to support executive creative decision-making.
• Track deliverables for both development projects and current series in production, flagging deadlines and status updates for the animation team.
• Interface with internal departments including marketing, business affairs, legal, PR, post-production, and production to coordinate across the animated series pipeline.
• Build and maintain interdepartmental grids, tracking systems, and asset databases to keep series materials organized and accessible.
• Research industry trends, competitive animation studio slates, overall deals, and key players to support executive awareness of the episodic television landscape.

What You Bring

• Prior experience in a coordinator or assistant role at a studio, network, or production company, ideally with exposure to animation development or episodic television.
• Comfort working with tracking systems, submission logs, and shared databases in a high-volume development environment.
• Proficiency building presentations in PowerPoint, with experience preparing materials for executive review.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, concise coverage on pitches and scripts.
• Familiarity with how animation production and development pipelines are structured, from initial pitch through series greenlight.
