About the Role

The Coordinator, Marketing US Distribution reports to the Vice President, Marketing, US Distribution and works across the full Sony Pictures distribution slate, touching everything from streaming platform relationships to key industry events like NATPE and L.A. Screenings. Day-to-day work involves routing and tracking a high volume of client-facing marketing assets, managing vendor coordination, and keeping administrative workflows moving across a team that interfaces with Creative, Publicity, Legal, Sales, Research, and International. This is a support role with real ownership, including individual projects assigned by senior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full asset approval pipeline for distribution marketing campaigns, tracking materials from internal creative teams through to external SVOD, AVOD, and cable network clients.
  • Produce and coordinate sales collateral including one sheets, pitch decks, e-blasts, and sizzle reels in support of distribution sales efforts.
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and executive travel and expense reports while maintaining accurate records of marketing budgets and vendor payments.
  • Track competitive and marketplace activity across streaming and cable platforms to inform the team’s positioning on the Sony Pictures content slate.
  • Support B2B marketing efforts at industry events, including client mailings, gift sourcing, and on-site logistics coordination.
  • Serve as a cross-functional point of contact for asset and material requests from internal stakeholders across Legal, Publicity, and International teams.

What You Bring

  • One to two years of experience in the entertainment industry, ideally within a studio, network, or distribution marketing environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is required; familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables across episodic television or film distribution campaigns without missing deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort working across all levels of a studio organization.
