About the Role

The Client-Side Show Production Manager works embedded within DNEG’s production and VFX teams, supporting live projects through the full post-production workflow from initial planning through to final delivery. Day-to-day, this person is managing budgets, building and maintaining project schedules, and keeping creative, editorial, and VFX teams aligned on priorities and deadlines. The role is onsite in London up to five days per week, which means being present in the room where decisions about shots and sequences are made in real time.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed project schedules that account for VFX pipeline milestones, editorial turnover dates, and final shot delivery windows.
• Manage production budgets across VFX and post, tracking spend and flagging variances before they become problems.
• Act as the production point of contact between client-side teams and internal DNEG creative and VFX departments throughout the post-production workflow.
• Track shot progress in ShotGrid, ensuring statuses are current and that any slippage is communicated to the relevant stakeholders promptly.
• Coordinate with editorial to manage turnover schedules, version deliveries, and review sessions across the duration of a project.
• Identify scheduling conflicts or resource gaps early and work with department leads to resolve them without disrupting final delivery commitments.

What You Bring

• Proven experience in a production management role within VFX or post production, ideally across feature film or episodic television projects.
• Hands-on ShotGrid experience at a production tracking level, not just basic familiarity.
• A working understanding of VFX shot life cycles, including how shots move through comp, lighting, and final review stages.
• Strong budget management skills with experience reconciling costs across a multi-department production.
• The ability to work onsite in London consistently, with the schedule flexibility that post production demands.
