A typical day involves suiting up in a provided costume, hitting scheduled appearance windows across the BooVille Zone, and supporting programmed activities including games and crafts that keep the guest experience moving. This is outdoor, weather-dependent live performance work with variable hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain full character performance while in costume throughout scheduled appearance sets in a high-traffic live entertainment environment.
• Engage children and families through physical performance, encouraging participation in themed games, crafts, and interactive programming.
• Distribute prizes and candy as part of directed scripted activity sequences within the BooVille Zone.
• Deliver basic guest information about BooVille programming and general park offerings while remaining in character.
• Maintain costume and dressing room areas to production standards between appearances and at the end of each performance day.
• Support the broader BooVille cast and crew in maintaining the continuity and energy of the live entertainment zone throughout operating hours.

What You Bring

• Minimum age of 16, with prior experience working with children in a performance, camp, or guest-facing setting preferred.
• Physical stamina to perform in costume for extended periods outdoors, including bending, crouching, and sustained movement.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, as required by the physical demands of this live performance role.
• Strong instincts for non-verbal communication and audience reading in a children’s live entertainment context.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and park holidays.
