Disney Entertainment Television is hiring a 20th Television Office of the President Intern for Spring 2027, based in Burbank, California. This role sits inside the executive office of 20th Television’s President, supporting the day-to-day operations that keep a major episodic television studio running across its full development and production slate. It suits a student or recent graduate who wants real exposure to how a television studio operates at the leadership level, not just one department.

About the Role

20th Television is the studio behind Abbott Elementary, Only Murders in the Building, American Horror Story, and a number of other series currently airing across ABC, FX, Hulu, Freeform, Disney+, and Nat Geo. As an intern in the Office of the President, you work alongside the Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant to support the President across scheduling, research, and daily operations. The role gives you a ground-level view of how a studio executive’s office functions within the broader episodic television production and development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the President’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics to keep the executive office running on time across a heavy slate of productions.
  • Field incoming calls and route inquiries appropriately, handling sensitive information with discretion at all times.
  • Research and compile travel logistics and other business needs in support of the President’s external commitments.
  • Maintain and update databases including Airtable, contact lists, and distribution lists used across the studio office.
  • Read incoming scripts from the television development pipeline and provide clear, thoughtful written coverage and feedback.
  • Attend team meetings and capture accurate notes to support follow-through on studio decisions and priorities.

What You Bring

  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program, with coursework or demonstrated interest in television, film, or media.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort handling confidential materials in a professional environment.
  • Working knowledge of Airtable or comparable database and organizational tools.
  • Genuine familiarity with 20th Television’s current series and the broader episodic television landscape across streaming and network.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills suited to an executive office setting.

Why This Role

20th Television Office of the President Intern is a rare position that puts you inside the executive layer of one of the most active studios in episodic television, with a current production slate spanning broadcast, cable, and streaming. Disney Entertainment Television operates across seven network partners, which means the volume and variety of projects moving through this office is substantial. For anyone serious about a career in television studio operations or development, this internship offers direct exposure to how decisions get made at the top.

Apply now for the 20th Television Office of the President Intern role with Disney Entertainment Television and take a concrete step toward a career in television studio operations.
