Drama Team Production Assistant

ITV is hiring a Drama Team Production Assistant based in London, working out of their offices at No.1 New Oxford Street. This role sits within ITV’s drama department, providing production and administrative support across the full life cycle of scripted television productions, from development and prep through to shoot, post-production, and delivery. It suits a production office professional with at least a year of hands-on UK television experience who understands how a drama production runs from the inside.

About the Role

The Drama Team Production Assistant supports ITV’s scripted drama slate across multiple productions simultaneously, working alongside both in-house teams and freelance production crews. Day-to-day, this means keeping production offices organised across prep, shoot, and wrap phases, managing documentation, coordinating schedules, and supporting the administrative backbone that keeps episodic television moving. The role is office-based three to four days per week in central London.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate meetings, travel, and scheduling across multiple productions within the drama slate at varying stages of the production timeline.
• Manage production documentation including crew information, confidential scripts, and commercially sensitive materials, with appropriate access controls in place.
• Maintain production guidelines, policies, and shared digital filing systems using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or equivalent tools.
• Support the setup of new productions, including establishing office systems and onboarding documentation ahead of prep.
• Assist with post-production activities and delivery workflows as productions move through their final stages.
• Support sustainability initiatives across the production office in line with ITV’s broader commitments on drama productions.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 12 months working in UK television production, either scripted or unscripted, for a broadcaster or independent production company.
• Direct experience supporting a production office through prep, shoot, and wrap with administrative or secretarial responsibilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including spreadsheet management and shared document workflows.
• A track record of managing competing priorities across multiple departments or productions without dropping the detail.
• Demonstrated experience handling confidential production information with discretion and accuracy.
