CGI Video Editor

Techtronic Industries North America, Inc. is hiring a CGI Video Editor at its Anderson, SC office to join the in-house creative team behind some of the power tool industry’s most recognized consumer brands. This role sits squarely in post-production, responsible for building and delivering 3D motion graphics, product animations, and finished video assets that drive brand campaigns and retail promotions. It suits a post-production professional with a strong CGI background who is comfortable owning work from storyboard through final output.

About the Role

The CGI Video Editor works within Techtronic Industries’ internal creative department, producing 3D motion content and edited video for product launches, sales campaigns, and brand initiatives across multiple consumer tool brands. A typical day moves between editing in Premiere, building and animating 3D assets in Cinema 4D, converting product CAD files for use in the post-production pipeline, and running color correction or sound design passes as needed. The role demands someone equally at home in a motion graphics suite and an offline edit session.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble 3D video files and graphic layouts from storyboards or director-led edit sessions to meet brand and product campaign deliverables.
• Model and animate 3D product assets using Cinema 4D, including conversion of CAD files for integration into the VFX pipeline.
• Apply color correction and sound design to finalize deliverables across multiple brand identities.
• Work within and help maintain clean file management systems for raw footage and layered working files, keeping the archive organized for editors and department heads.
• Stay current with AI tools as they apply to CGI production workflows and apply best practices where relevant.
• Collaborate directly with creative directors and brand leads during edit sessions to align motion content with each brand’s visual standards.

What You Bring

• 3 or more years of experience in a post-production role with a demonstrable CGI reel.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Redshift rendering.
• Working knowledge of on-set video production workflow alongside both online and offline editing processes.
• Experience converting product CAD data into usable 3D animation assets.
• A degree in film or a related field with a focus on video editing is preferred.

Why This Role

Techtronic Industries runs a well-resourced in-house creative operation, which means the CGI Video Editor has direct influence over finished content rather than working several layers removed from brand decisions. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes tuition assistance, 401(k), and medical, dental, and vision coverage. For a motion graphics professional who wants to build deep expertise across multiple consumer brands without the instability of project-to-project freelance work, this is a stable and creatively consistent position.
