ATP Media US is hiring a Video Editor (Original Programming & Non-Live Content) based out of their Wimbledon head office in London. This role sits within the Original Programming and Non-Live department, responsible for producing social-first video content, long-form editorial, and linear broadcast output for the ATP Tour and its Masters 1000 tournament partners. It is a strong fit for an editor who has worked across social, digital, and broadcast formats and knows how to cut content that performs on both a television screen and a phone.
About the Role
The Video Editor (Original Programming & Non-Live Content) works directly alongside producers and the Creative Director to deliver non-live content across a wide range of formats, from short-form social clips and branded digital content to long-form linear programming. ATP Media’s post-production workflow covers everything from offline assembly through to final delivery, with editors expected to own their projects from the first cut to export. A typical day could move between a quick-turn social edit and a structured long-form documentary sequence, requiring genuine range in post-production technique.
Key Responsibilities
- Editing original programming and non-live content from rough assembly through to final delivery across short-form, long-form, and linear broadcast formats.
- Applying motion graphics, colour grading, and sound design to produce polished, broadcast-ready output within Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Advising producers on realistic edit timelines during project mapping, ensuring appropriate post-production time is built into schedules before a project begins.
- Maintaining clean project management and file organisation throughout the post-production workflow, including accurate export formatting across MXF, MP4, MOV, split-track, and mixed-down deliverables.
- Identifying and resolving technical post-production issues proactively, and establishing efficient editorial workflows that hold up across concurrent projects.
- Collaborating with senior production staff to maintain creative and technical consistency across all video output produced for ATP Media and the ATP Tour.
What You Bring
- A minimum of three years of video editing experience across social, digital, and broadcast formats, either as a staff editor or a regularly contracted freelance editor.
- Expert-level working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with solid competency in motion graphics, colour correction, and sound editing.
- Proven credits across varied output formats, demonstrating range in both short-form social content and structured long-form editorial.
- Strong understanding of export specifications including split-track audio, mixed-down audio, MXFs, MP4s, and MOVs for broadcast and digital distribution.
- A methodical approach to project organisation, with the ability to manage multiple edits simultaneously without losing quality or missing delivery deadlines.
Why This Role
ATP Media is the broadcast and media arm of the ATP Tour, managing rights and content production across some of the most watched tennis tournaments in the world, including the Nitto ATP Finals and the Masters 1000 series. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the potential for renewal or extension, offering genuine continuity for the right editor. The scope of the original programming slate means this role touches real variety in post-production, from social-first content to linear television delivery.
