About the Role

Tire Rack’s in-house production department creates high-visibility video content that supports brand, product, and customer experience initiatives, and the Sr. Video Editor is the senior voice in post on all of it. A typical day moves between primary editing on complex projects, reviewing team members’ cuts, and solving the kind of technical and creative problems that come with managing a multi-project post-production pipeline. This is a full-time, on-site position with real mentorship responsibility, not just a senior title.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the edit on high-priority video projects from assembly cut through final deliverable, making independent creative decisions on pacing, structure, and story.
• Apply advanced color grading, compositing, visual effects, layering, and masking to bring sequences to a polished, broadcast-level finish.
• Design motion graphics and titles that serve the narrative and meet brand standards across all deliverables.
• Handle professional audio editing, mixing, and sound design to ensure production quality holds up across distribution platforms.
• Review edits from other team members and provide specific, constructive feedback that raises the overall quality of post-production output.
• Identify gaps in the post-production workflow and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and consistency across the department.

What You Bring

• A minimum of five years of professional video editing and post-production experience on complex, high-volume projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator as part of a professional post-production pipeline.
• A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating editorial range, motion graphics work, and color grading is required with application.
• Demonstrated experience mentoring editors or leading post-production on a team, not just working as a solo contributor.
• Proven ability to manage concurrent projects and deliver on schedule without sacrificing creative or technical quality.
