About the Role

The Senior Motion Graphics Designer works inside a remote creative team that produces content across broadcast and digital media, collaborating directly with directors and producers from the concept stage. Day-to-day output includes title sequences, animated logos, character animation, and composited VFX elements built to spec for multiple delivery formats. The team operates with a high degree of creative autonomy, and this designer is expected to hold the visual standard across projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate motion graphics and VFX composites for broadcast, digital, and interactive platforms using industry-standard post-production tools.
• Develop concepts, storyboards, and animatics in collaboration with creative directors and project leads at the start of each production.
• Build and deliver finished assets including title cards, lower thirds, animated logos, and character-driven animation sequences.
• Maintain consistent visual identity and brand aesthetic across all motion design work throughout a project lifecycle.
• Optimize and package motion graphics exports for varied platform specifications and delivery formats.
• Track and apply emerging techniques in animation and VFX pipeline tools to keep the team’s output current.

What You Bring

• Five or more years of professional experience as a motion graphics designer, with a portfolio that demonstrates VFX compositing and animation work across real productions.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D, including working knowledge of relevant plugins for each.
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and compositing techniques within a post-production workflow.
• Strong foundational understanding of animation principles, typography, and color theory as applied to screen-based storytelling.
• Proven ability to manage your own schedule and deliver on deadline within a distributed remote team structure.
