This role sits squarely in creative services, producing high-end image promos and sizzle reels with a heavy emphasis on compositing, visual effects, and post-production workflow. About the Role

The Creative Marketing Producer, VFX Editor/Compositor works within NewsNation’s in-house creative services team, reporting to the Creative Director and collaborating with fellow writer-producers on promotional content across broadcast, digital, and sales platforms. Day-to-day work moves between concepting and scripting promos, cutting picture, building VFX composites, and acting as colorist on projects that need it. Production responsibilities extend to coordinating shoots, voiceover sessions, and music, making this a full-cycle production role rather than a pure post position.

Key Responsibilities

• Concept, write, produce, and edit on-air promotions and image campaigns for NewsNation programming, working within assigned budgets and deadlines.
• Build visual effects composites and handle color grading for high-end image promos and sizzle reels using Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve.
• Step into the colorist and VFX compositor role on other producers’ projects as needed, functioning as a shared post resource across the team.
• Plan and coordinate production shoots, voiceover sessions, and music composition required to execute assigned promotional campaigns.
• Supervise and provide creative direction to graphic, print, and motion design artists working on campaign assets.
• Produce social promos and sales videos alongside traditional broadcast deliverables, adapting content across formats and platforms.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 5 years in creative services within a cable, broadcast, on-air promotions, boutique agency, or post-production environment.
• Demonstrated experience writing, producing, and directing commercials or on-air promotions, not just editing.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve is required.
• Experience working in a collaborative post-production environment with solid knowledge of industry-standard equipment and practices.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted production platforms such as Adobe Firefly and Higgsfield.ai is a plus.
