Job Position(s): Creative Motion Designer & Video Editor
Project Type: Animation
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Pixel & Frame Studio is hiring a Creative Motion Designer & Video Editor based in London, England. This role sits firmly in the post-production workflow, producing motion graphics, animated content, and edited video across brand and social formats on a weekly delivery schedule. It suits a mid-level motion designer who is comfortable owning output independently and working across both short-form and long-form edits without a lot of hand-holding.

About the Role

You will be embedded in Pixel & Frame Studio’s creative output team, working across brand identity projects, explainer videos, and social content that requires both animation and editing skills in the same pipeline. A typical week involves picking up a batch of briefs, building or adapting motion templates, and delivering finished assets across multiple formats. The volume is consistent, so this is a production-minded role as much as a creative one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Animate logo sequences, explainer videos, and social-first motion content using After Effects as your primary tool.
  • Edit long-form and short-form video content, shaping narrative structure and pacing from rough cut through to final delivery.
  • Build and maintain a library of reusable motion templates that can be adapted efficiently across recurring client work.
  • Translate brand identity guidelines into motion language, ensuring visual consistency across all animated outputs.
  • Manage your own batch of weekly deliverables, hitting turnaround targets without compromising finish quality.
  • Collaborate directly with the creative lead to align motion work with broader campaign and storytelling objectives on each project.

What You Bring

  • A strong showreel demonstrating motion graphics, logo animation, and edited video across brand or commercial production contexts.
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects at a level that covers expressions, character animation, and template construction.
  • Solid editing experience in Premiere Pro or a comparable NLE, with credits across both long-form and short-form formats.
  • Familiarity with social media platform specifications and how post-production workflow adapts to multi-format delivery.
  • Ability to manage personal output volume without micromanagement, meeting consistent weekly deadlines reliably.

Why This Role

Pixel & Frame Studio works across a steady slate of brand and content projects, which means this Creative Motion Designer & Video Editor role offers genuine variety without the instability of purely project-based freelance work. The studio’s focus on reusable systems and templated motion work means you will develop skills that translate directly into animation studio and post-production workflow environments. For a motion designer looking to build a consistent production credit base in London, this is a practical and well-structured position.
