This is a single-operator production role covering the full video workflow, from shooting corporate events and brand campaigns through to delivering edited content across social and digital platforms. It suits a self-sufficient shooter-editor who is comfortable owning a project from kit load to final export without a dedicated crew around them.

About the Role

This is an ad-hoc, day-rate position sitting within EC Markets LTD’s marketing and communications output, covering live events, brand storytelling, and campaign production rather than scripted or broadcast work. On any given shoot day you might be covering a conference, a product launch, or a brand interview, then turning around edited assets within a tight post-production workflow. The role demands someone who can assess a location, set their own lighting, pull focus, and capture usable audio without a separate sound recordist or gaffer on hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment independently across corporate event videography shoots in and around London.
• Plan and execute single-operator video production for marketing campaigns, including scout, setup, and breakdown without dedicated crew support.
• Edit footage to broadcast-ready standard for delivery across social media, corporate websites, and digital marketing channels.
• Manage the full post-production workflow from ingest and colour grade through to export in formats suited to each platform’s technical specifications.
• Capture high-quality audio using clip mics, boom, or room mics depending on the event format and environment.
• Maintain and transport production equipment responsibly, ensuring kit is show-ready for back-to-back project scheduling.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable credits in event videography and corporate video production, ideally including live events and executive interview setups.
• Proficiency in a professional non-linear editing system, with a working knowledge of colour grading and audio mixing at the edit stage.
• Hands-on experience operating cameras, three-point lighting rigs, and location audio equipment as a sole operator.
• A solid understanding of aspect ratios, compression formats, and delivery specs for social media and web video production.
• Ability to work to tight turnarounds and manage your own project timeline without a producer managing day-to-day logistics.
