Job Position(s): Videographer (Macclesfield, Cheshire)
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Zachary Daniels is hiring a Videographer to join a founder-led beauty and ecommerce brand based in Manchester, operating across the North West England region. This role sits within the brand’s in-house creative team, producing both long-form documentary content and short-form social media campaigns from shoot through to final delivery. It suits a camera operator and editor with commercial content credits who is comfortable owning the full production workflow without a large crew around them.

About the Role

The Videographer works directly inside the creative department at a beauty brand built on social commerce, community-led campaigns, and creator collaborations at scale. Day to day, this person moves between a major ongoing documentary project and social content shoots, handling everything from lighting setup and camera operation to editorial finishing. The production output reaches a large global audience, so consistency of craft and platform awareness are both central to the job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate camera across a range of acquisition formats, including tripod, gimbal, and handheld shooting to serve both cinematic documentary sequences and short-form social media content.
  • Take creative ownership on shoot days, making real-time decisions on framing, lighting, and composition that align with the established visual identity of each campaign.
  • Plan and storyboard production alongside internal creatives, building the shot list from brief stage through to delivery.
  • Edit footage end-to-end in Adobe Premiere Pro, carrying out picture cut, colour grade, and sound design to produce polished final outputs.
  • Produce content formatted and optimised for social and digital platforms, applying an understanding of aspect ratios, pacing, and platform-specific audience behaviour.
  • Track trends in beauty content and videography technique, feeding relevant references and approaches back into the production process.

What You Bring

  • A strong portfolio of videography work spanning both long-form and short-form content production, with demonstrable commercial results.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and audio editing tools as part of a standard post-production workflow.
  • Hands-on experience with gimbal stabilisation systems and professional lighting and audio equipment at a broadcast or commercial production standard.
  • A track record of delivering independently across multiple concurrent projects under tight turnaround schedules.
  • Prior work in beauty, lifestyle, or ecommerce content is a genuine advantage, not a formality.

Why This Role

The brand has an established production slate that includes a major documentary project running alongside ongoing social and digital campaigns, meaning this Videographer role carries real editorial weight rather than executional support work. The salary is up to £50,000, and the creative remit includes genuine input on visual direction rather than executing a locked brief. Zachary Daniels has placed this role at a business with significant content investment and a demonstrable audience reach built through creator-led and affiliate-driven digital campaigns.

Apply now for the Videographer position through Zachary Daniels and put your portfolio in front of a brand producing content at genuine scale.
