Video Production & Studio Manager

FOX Entertainment’s Red Seat Ventures is hiring a Video Production & Studio Manager based out of New York, NY. This role sits at the operational center of a multiplatform creator network, responsible for running live and recorded productions across podcast video, FAST channel content, and streaming workflows. It suits a hands-on broadcast or digital production professional who is equally comfortable behind a switcher as they are managing studio infrastructure end to end.

About the Role

The Video Production & Studio Manager owns the technical backbone of daily production operations from the New York office, covering everything from studio readiness to remote guest integration. A typical day moves between equipment maintenance, live production switching, and coordinating technical support for creators working across multiple formats.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain studio production systems including cameras, studio lighting, audio consoles, video switchers, recording systems, and transmission paths for live and recorded productions.
• Run live productions as Technical Director using TriCaster and vMix production switchers, managing signal flow and real-time troubleshooting during broadcast.
• Handle camera shading, audio level management, intercom programming, and remote guest feed management across live streaming and studio productions.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all production hardware and software, keeping documentation current for systems, workflows, and equipment inventory.
• Support media operations workflows including content capture, media management, and delivery across digital and streaming platforms.
• Coordinate equipment requests and technical production support for creators and internal teams, traveling as needed to cover productions off-site.

What You Bring

• 4 or more years of experience as a Technical Director, Technical Manager, or equivalent role in broadcast or digital production environments.
• 2 or more years of direct experience supporting live streaming production workflows, including setup, monitoring, and multiplatform delivery.
• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency with vMix and TriCaster production switchers in live production settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of audio, video, IP networking, and signal flow within live and studio production environments.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications relevant to post-production workflow and media management.
