About the Role

The Senior Social Designer & Video Editor works inside a small creative unit producing content across sports betting, casino, and live events verticals, where the social media workflow runs in real time during broadcasts and matches. A typical day moves between editing 15-second clips for platform delivery, building motion graphics templates for the broader team, and reviewing work from the three junior designers you will be responsible for mentoring. Creative direction sits with this role, meaning you shape the visual language across multiple client accounts, not just execute briefs handed down from above.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end post-production workflow for social video content, from rough cut through to platform-optimised export, across sports and casino accounts.
• Design and animate motion graphics for use across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, maintaining consistent brand standards at pace.
• Edit short-form and mid-length video content ranging from 15-second reactive clips to longer structured brand pieces.
• Mentor and give structured feedback to three junior designers, supporting their craft development within the social content pipeline.
• Collaborate directly with Social Media Managers to translate real-time briefs into publishable content, often during live sporting events.
• Shape and maintain the creative direction across client accounts, establishing repeatable design systems that hold up under deadline pressure.

What You Bring

• Demonstrable senior-level experience in social video production and motion graphics, with a portfolio covering sports, entertainment, or broadcast-adjacent content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects as core tools, with working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Proven ability to deliver across multiple projects simultaneously within a live social media production environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring other creatives within a studio or agency setting.
• Strong understanding of platform-specific aspect ratios, compression standards, and delivery specs across major social channels.
