Motion Designer / Video Editor

Artech Information Systems is hiring a Motion Designer / Video Editor for a remote engagement based out of Irvine, CA. This role sits squarely in the post-production workflow of a healthcare and pharmaceutical advertising agency, where the output spans motion graphics, digital campaigns, and social video content for major pharma brands. It is a strong fit for a motion designer who has worked across agency or branded content pipelines and knows how to move a project from assembly cut to final delivery under regulatory constraints.

About the Role

You will be embedded in a creative department that produces campaign content for pharmaceutical clients, working alongside creative directors, copywriters, and account teams to ensure every visual decision supports both the story and the compliance requirements of the brand. Day to day, this means building and animating motion graphics in After Effects, cutting and finishing video in Premiere, and managing multiple deliverables across different brand style guides simultaneously. This is a contract position running six or more months with the possibility of extension, operating Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate motion graphics for digital campaign content, social media placements, and long-form video assets.
• Edit video from assembly through final delivery, ensuring all cuts meet brand standards and pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines.
• Build and maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and reusable motion templates within the post-production workflow.
• Conceptualize and pitch visual treatments to creative directors during campaign development.
• Apply AI-assisted animation tools to accelerate production without compromising quality or consistency.
• Stay current with motion design trends, 3D techniques, and emerging tools relevant to branded content production.

What You Bring

• Four or more years of professional experience in motion design and video editing, ideally within an agency or branded content environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere, with a portfolio that demonstrates both.
• Working knowledge of Cinema 4D or comparable 3D software is a meaningful advantage.
• Experience using AI tools to generate or assist with animation production.
• Strong command of typography, timing, and visual storytelling across multiple brand identities.
• Pharma or healthcare advertising experience is preferred, though candidates from other regulated content backgrounds will be considered.
