Senior Videographer / Art Director

Fidelity Services Group is hiring a Senior Videographer / Art Director based in Midrand, Johannesburg. This role sits at the centre of an in-house creative production function, owning end-to-end video production workflow from concept and storyboarding through to colour grade, sound design and final delivery across corporate, marketing, recruitment and internal communications output. It suits a senior-level shooter and editor who has also carried art direction responsibility and is comfortable owning a production pipeline rather than just executing within one.

About the Role

Fidelity Services Group is formalising an internal marketing division, and this position is central to building that capability from the ground up alongside the Marketing Manager. Day to day, the role covers directing and shooting on location and in studio, leading post-production on finished deliverables, and providing art direction across video and supporting visual assets. Beyond production output, the role carries an evolving brief around creative technology, including evaluating asset management systems, workflow automation tools and AI-assisted production applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, shoot and deliver broadcast-ready video content across corporate communications, brand campaigns, recruitment and training use cases.
• Lead the full post-production workflow, including editing in Adobe Premiere Pro, motion graphics in After Effects, colour grading and sound design.
• Direct on-location and studio shoots, managing lighting setup, shot composition, equipment and any crew involved in the production.
• Develop storyboards, shot lists and creative treatments that translate marketing briefs into structured visual narratives.
• Evaluate and recommend software and systems that improve the marketing division’s production agility, spanning digital asset management, collaboration tools and automation.
• Support the onboarding and mentoring of future creative hires as the in-house production function scales.

What You Bring

• 12 or more years of experience in videography, motion design or visual communications, with senior or lead-level production responsibility in your recent history.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with working knowledge across the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
• A portfolio or showreel demonstrating range across corporate video production, brand campaigns and motion content.
• Experience helping establish or structure an in-house or agency creative production function, including workflows, briefing templates and approval processes.
• A background in design, branding or IT infrastructure that informs how you think about tooling and production systems, not just output.
