Job Position(s): Social-First Food Videographer – iPhone & Studio Pro
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Uncovered, a London-based content agency, is hiring a Social-First Food Videographer to shoot food-centric video for Tesco Kitchen and other brand clients. This role sits within the production and food media team, responsible for generating social-first video content shot on iPhone and in studio environments, from initial concept through to delivery. It suits a videographer with genuine knowledge of food styling on camera, social platform trends, and the ability to move between a controlled studio shoot and a fast turnaround location day without losing quality.

About the Role

The Social-First Food Videographer works across the Food Team and Production group at Uncovered, contributing to content pipelines for clients including Tesco Kitchen. A typical day involves prepping a studio shoot, operating camera on food hero shots, and feeding selects into the edit, all within the timeline expectations of social content production. The role requires someone who understands both the technical discipline of food videography and the platform logic that shapes how that content performs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating iPhone and studio camera setups to capture food content that meets brief requirements across multiple social formats.
  • Applying knowledge of food media production to light, frame, and capture hero product shots that hold up at a social content scale.
  • Working with the Food Team on pre-production planning, including shot lists, location logistics, and prop coordination.
  • Contributing to the edit process by reviewing selects, providing input on pacing, and ensuring output is platform-appropriate.
  • Staying current with social video trends to inform how shoots are approached and how content is structured in the edit.
  • Maintaining consistent visual standards across studio and on-location shoots for the same client brand.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrable experience shooting food videography for social platforms, with a reel that shows range across formats.
  • Confident iPhone camera operator who understands its limits and strengths in a professional food media context.
  • Familiarity with studio production workflow, including lighting setups specific to food and product shoots.
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to post-production workflow, whether through editing input or direct cutting experience.
  • A working understanding of how content performs differently across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Why This Role

Uncovered works with major grocery and food retail brands, giving the Social-First Food Videographer access to consistent, high-volume production work with a recognisable client name in Tesco Kitchen. The agency structure means close collaboration across food, production, and creative departments rather than siloed freelance work. For a videographer looking to build depth in food content production, this is a staff-level opportunity with real creative input.

Apply now for the Social-First Food Videographer role at Uncovered and bring your food media production experience to one of London’s active brand content agencies.
