Job Position(s): Food Videographer
Project Type: Film & Television
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

Uncovered, a London-based social-first creative agency, is hiring a Food Videographer to join their production team. This role sits within the food content production unit, responsible for capturing recipe-led social video primarily for Tesco Kitchen, shooting across studio and location environments. It suits a camera operator with genuine food media experience who understands how to frame and light food content specifically for social video platforms.

About the Role

The Food Videographer works directly alongside Uncovered’s Food Team as part of a wider production department that handles everything from creative strategy through to delivery and analytics. Day-to-day, this means planning shoots, operating camera on studio food productions using iPhone and professional lighting setups, and feeding into post-production when the edit requires it. The volume and variety of client work means shoot schedules turn over quickly, and the ability to work independently without losing output quality is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate camera on studio and location food shoots, capturing recipe content that meets both the creative brief and client deliverables for social video production.
  • Shoot high-quality food content using the latest iPhone hardware, applying studio lighting techniques appropriate to food media.
  • Contribute to pre-production planning, including shot lists, lighting plans, and coordination with the Food Team ahead of shoot days.
  • Participate in post-production workflows by providing editing support and creative feedback during the cut.
  • Monitor developments in social video production standards and bring relevant techniques or equipment into the team’s practice.
  • Balance the needs of multiple ongoing client projects simultaneously, maintaining consistent output quality across each production.

What You Bring

  • Demonstrable experience shooting food content for a social media audience, with a portfolio that shows an understanding of platform-native video.
  • Hands-on knowledge of iPhone filmmaking and studio lighting for food productions.
  • Experience working within a social video production pipeline from pre-production through to delivery.
  • Strong organisational skills suited to managing multiple productions at different stages.
  • A genuine interest in food content and how it performs across social platforms.

Why This Role

Uncovered was named Campaign’s Social Media Agency of the Year in 2026 and operates as part of LBG Media, giving the team significant reach and cultural influence across social platforms. The Food Videographer role offers consistent, high-volume production work on a major retail brand, with real input into how the food content production process develops over time.

Apply now for the Food Videographer position at Uncovered and bring your food production experience to one of the UK’s most recognised social agencies.
