CACI International
CACI International is hiring a Photographer/Videographer based in Tampa, FL, to support defense and government communications operations. This role sits within a strategic communications environment, producing photo and video content that documents senior leader engagements, military exercises, command events, and partner activities for both internal and public release. It’s a fit for a visual communications professional who has worked in government, military public affairs, or corporate media production and knows how to deliver polished content under operational constraints.
About the Role
This position functions within a communications and public affairs workflow, producing multimedia content that supports command-level messaging and strategic communications objectives. Day to day, that means shooting and editing everything from executive highlight reels to event documentation packages, then managing those assets through organized digital libraries with proper metadata and archival standards. The role requires up to 25% travel, primarily local, to cover key engagements and field activities as they happen.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture photo and video content at Key Leader Engagements, command events, exercises, and partner engagements, producing assets that meet OPSEC and release guidance requirements.
- Develop shot lists, storyboards, and visual content plans that align with strategic communications priorities and approved messaging frameworks.
- Edit and deliver professional multimedia products incorporating graphics, audio, captions, and narration using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Produce rapid-turn deliverables including executive summaries, engagement recaps, and highlight reels to support leadership awareness and internal communications workflows.
- Maintain digital asset libraries with consistent metadata tagging and archival records to ensure content accessibility and historical preservation.
- Coordinate directly with Public Affairs teams and communication stakeholders to ensure visual output aligns with operational and command objectives.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 or more years of experience in photography, videography, multimedia production, visual communications, or journalism.
- Demonstrated production work in operational, government, military, or corporate media environments with a portfolio that reflects professional-grade output.
- Proficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud applications as part of a standard post-production workflow.
- Active TS/SCI clearance required to start.
- Experience supporting Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, or Special Operations Forces communications efforts is a strong advantage.
Why This Role
CACI International works directly with defense and national security clients, giving visual communicators access to high-stakes, mission-driven multimedia production work that rarely surfaces on a standard job board. The company offers flexible time off and structured learning resources that support real career development over time. CACI describes its compensation as influenced by Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant experience, and geographic location, with a full range of factors considered in the final offer.
