About the Role

You will work directly alongside the social media and marketing teams at Bjak, a financial services platform operating across Southeast Asia, contributing to weekly content calendars and campaign deliverables. The post-production workflow here is short-cycle and output-heavy, with edits turning around quickly and adapted across multiple platform formats. A typical day involves cutting raw footage, adding motion graphics or subtitles, monitoring trend cycles, and managing organized media archives for multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content optimized for platform-specific ratios, lengths, and resolution requirements across TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and XHS.
• Build edits with strong opening hooks, deliberate pacing, and narrative flow suited to social media audience behavior and watch-time algorithms.
• Apply motion graphics, transitions, subtitles, and sound design to lift engagement and reinforce brand tone across all deliverables.
• Repurpose and reformat raw footage supplied by videographers into final platform-ready assets, maintaining consistency across campaign messaging.
• Monitor competitor content, influencer editing styles, and emerging viral formats to inform creative decisions and keep the output current.
• Maintain version control, organized project file structures, and media archives to support a smooth post-production workflow across the team.

What You Bring

• 1 to 3 years of experience in short-form video editing or social media content production.
• Working proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• A showreel or portfolio of short-form social content is required to apply.
• Solid understanding of how social media algorithms influence content performance and distribution.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, or a related field.
