Job Type
Disney is hiring a Post Production Coordinator based in London, UK, working out of their Hammersmith office. This role sits at the platform level of post production, managing timelines, deliverables, and vendor communication across a concurrent slate of scripted and unscripted originals through to final delivery. It suits a coordinator or post production manager who has worked across streaming or studio operations and knows how to keep multiple shows moving without dropping the ball on specs, schedules, or data hygiene.
About the Role
You will be embedded in the Post Production department at Disney, acting as the central point of contact between production partners, internal teams including Editorial, Marketing, Legal, and Delivery Operations, and third-party vendors. The work spans both scripted and unscripted content, covering everything from tracking cuts and picture lock through to overseeing audio and asset delivery against platform requirements. Day to day, this means managing post production workflow across multiple shows simultaneously, maintaining status reports for leadership, and troubleshooting bottlenecks before they become problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track post production timelines and deliverables across all assigned projects, flagging risks and scheduling conflicts to the relevant stakeholders.
- Oversee the accurate and timely delivery of all post production assets, including cuts, final picture, and audio, in line with platform delivery requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between production partners, internal departments, and external vendors throughout the post production workflow.
- Manage onboarding, training, and ongoing support for internal systems and studio platforms including PIX, Scenechronize, SoundMouse, Aspera, and MediaShuttle.
- Enforce naming conventions, data hygiene, and technical and security standards across all productions, supporting the rollout of new guidelines where required.
- Generate regular post production status reports and maintain accurate records of show progress, risks, and outstanding issues for leadership review.
What You Bring
- At least three years of experience in post production coordination or management at a streaming, network, or studio level.
- Solid working knowledge of post production workflows and delivery requirements across both scripted and unscripted episodic television.
- Hands-on familiarity with asset management and collaboration platforms including PIX, Scenechronize, and SoundMouse.
- Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors and coordinating across creative and technical departments.
- Working knowledge of localisation processes, content security protocols, and broadcast or streaming technical specifications.
Why This Role
Disney’s London team oversees a substantial slate of original productions, giving this Post Production Coordinator role genuine breadth and a high level of operational responsibility from day one. The position comes with 25 days annual leave, private medical and dental cover, free park entry for family and friends, and Disney product and resort discounts. For a post production professional looking to work at platform scale with a studio that produces across genres, this is a substantive role with real scope.
