Rodeo FX is building out its roster of experienced post-production producers for its Los Angeles advertising and VFX division. This role sits within the ADS team and covers the full production lifecycle for advertising projects, from initial bid through to delivery, with occasional film and episodic VFX work in the mix. It suits a producer who knows the commercial VFX post-production workflow from the inside and can hold a room with both clients and artists.

About the Role

Working under the Executive Producer in Los Angeles, the Post-Production Producer owns the schedule and budget for advertising projects handled by the LA ADS team, and is expected to be present in the studio for all client sessions. Day to day, that means running bids, managing crew bookings, keeping ShotGrid current, and making sure artists have what they need to hit their deadlines. When film or episodic VFX projects come through, this producer steps in to cover those as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the bidding process for advertising VFX opportunities in collaboration with the global ADS team, producing quotes that reflect accurate scope and schedule.
• Build and manage the post-production schedule for each project, from kick-off through delivery, adjusting timelines as client requests and scope changes come in.
• Handle crew planning across potential and confirmed projects, including artist bookings and participation in the weekly resource meeting for the ADS department.
• Set up and oversee workflow for grading and online sessions, coordinating with relevant department heads to assign key talent at the start of each project.
• Track budget and schedule across all active projects, ensuring artist estimates and timelogs are entered correctly and that ShotGrid reflects the current state of production at all times.
• Maintain direct client communication throughout each project, managing expectations around deliverables, changes, and approvals.

What You Bring

• Proven experience producing commercial or advertising VFX projects at a post-production house or VFX studio.
• Working knowledge of ShotGrid for project tracking, scheduling, and artist management.
• Familiarity with grading and online post-production workflows in an advertising context.
• Experience running bids and managing project budgets through full production cycles.
• Ability to work across permanent, temporary, or freelance contract arrangements.
