Job Type
Paramount Pictures is hiring a UK TV Production Coordinator to join its international television team in London, England. This role sits at the operational centre of the studio’s UK television production division, supporting the SVP of Television Production across an active slate of episodic television projects from development through delivery. It suits a coordinator who thrives in a studio environment, knows how production offices actually function, and can hold multiple shows together at the same time without losing the thread.
About the Role
You will work directly with the SVP of Television Production, UK, acting as the connective tissue between the Paramount Pictures studio and the individual show production offices across the slate. Day to day, this means managing documentation, onboarding new productions, tracking budgets and schedules, and keeping communication flowing with global partners. The role spans the full production lifecycle, so you will be across projects at very different stages simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Onboard incoming show production offices, ensuring they are set up with the correct documentation, systems access, and studio contacts before cameras roll.
- Maintain production records across the slate, tracking deliverables, key dates, and approvals for each project in active development or production.
- Coordinate scheduling for the SVP and the wider international TV team, managing diaries across time zones and production calendars.
- Support budget tracking processes, flagging variances and preparing cost reports to keep the studio team informed on episodic television spend.
- Arrange international travel and logistics for the UK television team, including shoots, festivals, and partner meetings across multiple territories.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the studio and show teams, routing communications and ensuring nothing falls through the gaps between departments.
What You Bring
- Prior experience as a production coordinator or production office coordinator on episodic television or scripted drama.
- Solid working knowledge of production scheduling tools and document management systems used in UK television production.
- Familiarity with budget tracking processes and cost reporting in a studio or broadcaster context.
- Confidence managing international logistics, including travel coordination across multiple time zones.
- Experience working across a slate rather than a single production is a genuine advantage here.
Why This Role
Paramount Pictures carries one of the most recognised slates in international television production, and the UK television division is an active part of that output. This UK TV Production Coordinator position offers direct access to the studio’s senior leadership and exposure to the full arc of how episodic television gets made at scale. For a coordinator looking to grow into production management, the scope here is genuine.
