Sky UK Limited is hiring a Video Editor & Motion Designer on a 6-month fixed-term contract based in London. This role sits within CSG Creative, Sky’s in-house studio, where the focus is on producing motion graphics, animation, sizzle reels, and short-form video content for internal communications and employee engagement campaigns. It’s a strong fit for a motion designer with solid post-production workflow experience who is equally comfortable behind a camera as they are in After Effects.

About the Role

CSG Creative operates as a multi-disciplinary studio inside Sky’s Customer Service Group, producing content that ranges from highlight reels and mini-documentaries to piece-to-camera formats and animated campaign assets. Day to day, this person moves between concepting, storyboarding, filming, and finishing, taking briefs from initial idea through to final delivery across multiple digital platforms. The role works closely with designers, copywriters, and creative leads, which means a good understanding of brand standards and accessibility requirements is part of the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and animate motion graphics for digital experiences, internal campaigns, and highlight reels, using Adobe After Effects as the primary tool.
• Edit video content across formats including sizzle reels, mini-documentaries, and piece-to-camera productions, with attention to narrative structure, pacing, and sound.
• Develop motion concepts from brief through to animatic and final delivery, maintaining visual consistency with brand and tone of voice guidelines.
• Direct and film video shoots, handling the full production process from pre-production planning through to post-production finishing.
• Produce internal promotional content including testimonials, case studies, and motion mock-ups that translate business objectives into clear visual storytelling.
• Monitor motion design trends and apply current techniques to keep the studio’s output relevant across channels and formats.

What You Bring

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro, with a portfolio demonstrating motion graphics and animation for digital platforms.
• Hands-on experience directing and filming video content, with a strong grasp of the end-to-end video production process.
• Demonstrated skills in typography, layout, and visual composition applied to motion design work.
• Experience producing content for internal communications or employee engagement campaigns is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with accessibility considerations for video and motion content across multiple digital channels.
