About the Role

The Video Editor works directly within the non-live production team alongside Senior Producers, Producers, and Junior Producers to shape the editorial direction of content destined for broadcast and digital platforms. Day to day, this means cutting promos, features, and highlight packages while contributing to motion design and visual treatments using Adobe Creative Cloud. The role requires at least three days per week in Central London and includes international travel, sometimes extended trips on location for major sporting events.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit a full range of deliverables including promos, short-form social clips, highlight packages, and long-form storytelling pieces for broadcast and digital distribution.
• Contribute to the visual identity of Project B content, making editorial and creative decisions that align with HBS production standards.
• Build motion graphics, templates, and visual treatments in After Effects as part of the post-production workflow.
• Maintain file-based workflow discipline across remote collaboration tools, keeping deliverables organised and on schedule under deadline pressure.
• Work within multi-camera broadcast environments, applying an understanding of live sports production to the edit suite.
• Collaborate with producers and designers to ensure consistent storytelling quality across all output formats and platforms.

What You Bring

• A minimum of five years of experience in creative editing, with sports broadcast or documentary credits preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with broader Adobe Creative Cloud competency across the post-production pipeline.
• A strong working knowledge of basketball as a sport and cultural context, which directly informs editorial tone and pacing decisions.
• Experience on international sports events or in multi-camera broadcast production environments is a meaningful advantage.
• Fluent English communication skills suited to working across international production teams.
