Videographer/Editor

Stratgeist is hiring a Videographer/Editor based in Singapore to join their content production team. This role sits across the full digital video production workflow, from pre-production planning and on-set camera operation through to post-production editing, color grading, and delivery across social and digital platforms. It suits a working camera operator and editor who is equally comfortable pulling focus on a shoot and cutting a sequence in Premiere Pro.

About the Role

The Videographer/Editor at Stratgeist works within the marketing production team, producing short-form and long-form video content for client campaigns across platforms including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. On any given day, this person might be rigging a lighting setup in the morning and finishing a color grade in DaVinci Resolve by the afternoon. The role also carries some producer and director responsibilities on projects that call for it, including managing timelines from brief to final asset delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional camera, audio, and lighting equipment on set, including rigging tripods, monitors, backdrops, and cabling ahead of each shoot.
• Manage the full digital video production lifecycle, covering project conception, on-set capture, editing, sound balancing, color correction, and archiving of final assets.
• Execute non-linear editing workflows in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, including clip sequencing, audio mixing, and export in multiple delivery formats.
• Step into a producer or director capacity when the project requires it, evaluating objectives, managing budget, and ensuring output meets platform and content format requirements.
• Contribute to campaign brainstorms with the marketing team, advising on visual format, platform selection, and content structure ahead of production.
• Maintain equipment inventory, perform preventive maintenance checks, and keep the production schedule current across all active projects.

What You Bring

• Minimum three years of hands-on experience in the creative or media industry, with a portfolio that demonstrates both shooting and editing credits.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for color grading and non-linear post-production workflows.
• Solid technical understanding of professional lighting, camera systems, and audio capture equipment.
• A diploma or equivalent qualification in Film, Visual Communications, Design, or Mass Communications.
