Job Type
The Technical University of Denmark is hiring a Video Editor based in London, England, to join their Kings Digital production team. This role sits within the post-production workstream, responsible for editing and delivering multimedia learning content across a portfolio of online courses, from ingest through to final output. It suits an editor with a background in educational or corporate video production who is comfortable owning a full post-production workflow independently.
About the Role
The Video Editor reports to the Senior Video Editor within Kings Digital, a team that produces online course content delivered to learners internationally. Day-to-day work spans the complete post-production workflow, including editing educational videos, producing podcasts, and supporting mixed media projects alongside E-Learning Visual Designers. Projects run concurrently across multiple courses, so asset management and adherence to structured production pipelines are as central to this role as the edit itself.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all post-production workflow across an allocated slate of online courses, from media ingest through to final delivery.
- Edit educational video content to a high standard, ensuring each cut meets the visual and pedagogical requirements of the course brief.
- Advise academic and production colleagues on appropriate tools, techniques, and media formats during the concept and pre-production phases.
- Catalogue and maintain all media assets throughout each project lifecycle, keeping the asset library accurate and accessible to the wider team.
- Contribute to and update post-production processes and documentation as workflows evolve across the Kings Digital portfolio.
- Support mixed media and podcast projects in collaboration with E-Learning Visual Designers, maintaining consistency across deliverables.
What You Bring
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant production or media subject area.
- Hands-on experience editing educational videos within a structured post-production environment.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising delivery schedules or output quality.
- Experience working within a collaborative creative team, with strong communication and organisation skills throughout.
- Knowledge of accessibility requirements for digital content and familiarity with task-management tools are desirable.
Why This Role
Kings Digital operates as a dedicated digital education unit producing content that reaches students across the world, giving editors consistent, substantive work across a broad subject range rather than project-to-project freelance cycles. The team supports hybrid working arrangements, a permanent full-time contract at 35 hours per week, and a generous pension contribution. For an editor looking to build long-term experience in educational video production and post-production workflow at scale, this is a stable and well-resourced position.
Apply now for the Video Editor role at the Technical University of Denmark and bring your post-production experience to a team producing content that genuinely reaches a global audience.
