This role sits on the talent side of a branded commercial production, with the selected performers appearing on camera in product demonstration sequences and scripted spoken-to-camera dialogue for a Canadian grooming brand. It suits men with some on-camera experience, whether from commercial work, hosting, presenting, or acting, who can take direction and deliver lines naturally across multiple takes.

About the Role

This is a short-form commercial production for Rockwell Razors, a Canadian shaving and grooming brand, shot in-studio in the Toronto and GTA area. The shoot involves close-up facial and beard footage alongside scripted speaking segments, so this is a performance role as much as a modeling role. On the day, talent will move through product demo setups and dialogue takes under the direction of the videographer, with callbacks preceding the final shoot day.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scripted spoken-to-camera lines in a natural, conversational register across multiple takes as directed.
• Appear in close-up product demonstration footage featuring facial hair, including beard, stubble, or moustache.
• Take and apply on-set direction from the director to adjust performance, eyeline, and delivery between takes.
• Maintain consistency of appearance and energy through a full commercial shoot day in a studio environment.
• Participate in a brief pre-shoot video call to confirm fit before attending the in-person final casting session.

What You Bring

• Male presenting, roughly mid-20s to late-40s, currently carrying facial hair in any form including beard, stubble, or moustache.
• Comfort delivering dialogue on camera without sounding scripted, drawn from commercial, hosting, acting, or presenting work.
• Experience holding composure and staying relaxed through repetitive takes in a commercial production environment.
• Non-union status, as this production is not open to union members.
• Based in or able to work within the Toronto and GTA area for the in-studio shoot date.
