- Full Time
- London, England, UK
The Walt Disney Company
Category
Job Type
The Walt Disney Company is hiring a Social Media & Influencer Lead EMEA based in London, England. This role sits within Disney’s marketing division, leading social media strategy and influencer campaigns across UK and EMEA markets for the company’s film and television slate, including content from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and beyond. It suits a senior social media professional who has run multi-territory campaigns for major entertainment releases and knows how to build influencer programs that actually move audiences.
About the Role
Working within The Walt Disney Company’s EMEA marketing function, this person is responsible for how Disney’s film and television titles show up across social platforms from launch through release and beyond. Day to day that means briefing influencer partners on upcoming tentpole releases, reviewing content performance across markets, and aligning with brand teams on channel governance. The Social Media & Influencer Lead EMEA owns the social-first content strategy that sits alongside traditional entertainment marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead influencer marketing programs across UK and EMEA territories, identifying and managing talent partnerships for theatrical and streaming releases.
- Develop social-first content strategies tailored to platform behavior on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and X, aligned to each title’s audience profile.
- Oversee channel governance across EMEA markets, setting standards for tone, cadence, and content approval workflows.
- Analyse campaign performance data and translate metrics into actionable reporting for internal brand and studio partners.
- Collaborate with local market teams across EMEA to adapt and localise social campaigns without losing the integrity of the global entertainment marketing brief.
- Brief and manage creative agencies and influencer talent agencies to deliver content that serves both organic reach and paid social distribution.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in a senior social media or influencer marketing role, preferably within film, television, or broader entertainment marketing.
- Demonstrated track record running influencer campaigns across multiple EMEA markets simultaneously.
- Fluency with social analytics platforms and performance reporting tools used in entertainment campaign management.
- Experience working with major studio or streaming releases, where campaign windows are tight and audience targeting is highly segmented.
- Strong understanding of platform-specific content formats and how entertainment audiences consume them differently across territories.
Why This Role
The Walt Disney Company’s EMEA marketing operation covers one of the most active release slates in the industry, spanning theatrical, Disney+, and co-productions across multiple genres and audiences. This is a supervisory position with genuine regional scope, not a regional extension of a US-led brief. For a social media professional looking to work at the intersection of entertainment marketing and influencer strategy, few companies offer the breadth of IP or the scale of campaign work available here.
Apply now for the Social Media & Influencer Lead EMEA position with The Walt Disney Company and bring your EMEA entertainment marketing experience to one of the industry’s most recognised studios.
