The Sr. Technical Program Manager, Amazon MGM Studios Tech, sits at the intersection of engineering, creative technology, and production operations, owning programs that modernize how film and television content is made and delivered at scale. Day to day, this person is managing multi-year technology roadmaps, running down cross-functional blockers, driving cost reduction across infrastructure and vendor contracts, and keeping post-production workflow programs on track across distributed teams. The role also carries responsibility for content security compliance, including alignment with TPN and MPAA guidelines across media pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive multi-year technology roadmaps for production and post-production systems, aligning engineering investment with studio business priorities across theatrical and streaming delivery.
• Serve as the operational bridge between engineering teams and on-the-ground production technology teams, translating workflow challenges into actionable engineering requirements with minimal production disruption.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives targeting infrastructure spend, vendor contract optimization, and total cost of ownership across post-production technology platforms.
• Drive content security programs in partnership with information security teams, implementing access controls and secure media pipelines that meet TPN and MPAA compliance standards.
• Manage risk, dependencies, and third-party integrations across distributed teams working in cloud-based production workflows, asset management systems, and industry standards including ACES, IMF, and SMPTE.
• Establish program governance, reporting structures, and success metrics that give senior studio leadership clear visibility into program health and delivery status.

What You Bring

• Senior-level experience managing complex technical programs inside a studio, network, or major production technology environment.
• Working knowledge of media supply chain technologies, cloud-based production workflows, and asset management systems used in episodic television or feature film production.
• Familiarity with industry standards including ACES, IMF, and SMPTE, and how they apply to editorial, VFX, and final delivery pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience running security compliance initiatives aligned with TPN or MPAA guidelines.
• Proven track record managing vendor relationships, infrastructure cost programs, and cross-functional engineering deployments at scale.
