Project Type: TV Series
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000/year

Lionsgate is hiring a Coordinator, Content Strategy & Library Management based out of their Santa Monica, CA offices. Sitting within the Global Content Strategy team, this role supports the commercial positioning of Lionsgate’s 20,000-plus title film and television library across every distribution window, from linear and SVOD to AVOD and FAST. It suits an early-career distribution or library professional who understands how rights, metadata, and platform strategy connect to real revenue.

About the Role

This position sits at the intersection of film and television distribution, working directly with the SVP of Content Strategy & Library Management to keep priority titles commercially ready across global markets. Day to day, that means tracking new release product in the global release schedule, monitoring title readiness from rights clearance through metadata delivery, and coordinating materials across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Legal. The role covers both the theatrical slate and the broader episodic television library, so familiarity with how both sides of a studio move product is useful from day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track new film and series titles in the global release schedule, monitoring P&A timing, screen counts, and preliminary financial targets against distribution windows.
  • Own end-to-end title readiness in coordination with Acquisitions and Rights Management, ensuring accurate avails display and complete metadata entry across systems.
  • Identify priority library titles for renewal conversations by aligning rights availability, sales strategy, and current performance trends.
  • Liaise with Marketing to consolidate sales materials including one-sheets, pitch decks, and screeners for presentation to the sales team.
  • Maintain working knowledge of territory footprints, holdbacks, and rights restrictions on a by-title basis across international television markets.
  • Support executive workflow for the SVP including calendar management, meeting coordination, and expense submissions.

What You Bring

  • One to two years of experience in film or television distribution, library management, or a closely related field.
  • Working knowledge of global television distribution models including linear, SVOD, AVOD, and FAST platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage metadata workflows and track title readiness across large content catalogs.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining shared file systems and cross-functional tracking documents for a distribution or post-production workflow.
  • Comfort presenting materials and communicating title opportunities to sales teams.

Why This Role

Lionsgate’s television group supplies premium episodic television to buyers worldwide, with a catalog that includes titles like Orange is the New Black, Mad Men, and Weeds, and nearly 100 active series across 40-plus networks. The Coordinator, Content Strategy & Library Management role sits at the center of how that catalog gets packaged and sold globally, which is a practical education in studio distribution that is hard to find at this level. This is a full-time, in-office position five days per week in Santa Monica.
