Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 support for Avid Media Composer and Avid NEXIS environments, troubleshooting issues for editorial clients via phone, email, and in-person in a live post-production setting.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Hollywood and New York to design and optimize Avid system architectures that meet company security and operational standards.
• Implement and support work-from-home hardware and software solutions that extend secure post-production workflow access to remote editorial teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory of all editorial gear and support storage performance, archival systems, and media management across active productions.
• Administer Active Directory, VMware, and cloud architecture components as part of the broader infrastructure supporting creative applications globally.
• Define and document best practices for complex technical processes, providing guidance to junior team members working within the post-production pipeline.

What You Bring

• Proficiency with Avid Media Composer and Avid NEXIS support, with ACSR certification preferred but not required.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration, VMware, and cloud architecture or administration.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts as they apply to both remote and in-studio production workflows.
• Background in post-production or studio environments is a genuine advantage, not just a nice-to-have.
• Availability to respond after hours, on weekends, and holidays on an on-call basis in line with production schedules.
