Job Position(s): Voice Actor - Spanish (Spain)
Project Type: Commercial
Job Date: Full Time
Compensation: Paid - Salary

JR Spain, operating under the Alignerr organisation, is hiring a Voice Actor specialising in Spanish (Spain) for contracted studio recording sessions across Spain. This role sits within AI speech research production, where voice talent records natural conversational dialogue used to train and improve how AI systems process and understand human speech. It suits a working voice-over artist with professional studio credits who performs dialogue-based material, not just narration or commercial reads.

About the Role

This is a short-term contract voice recording role structured around two to three sessions of four hours each, completed at a professionally equipped studio assigned locally within Spain. Sessions include both single-speaker recordings and dual-speaker dialogue work, following a format closer to audio drama or dialogue production than traditional voice-over work. The material is designed to sound unscripted and human, so performers with a background in conversational or character-driven studio recording will find this format familiar.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record natural, conversational Spanish (Spain) speech across a range of scenarios in a professional studio environment, meeting the technical and performance standards required for AI speech research production.
  • Participate in single-speaker and dual-speaker dialogue sessions, delivering realistic exchanges that reflect genuine human speech patterns rather than formal narration styles.
  • Take direction from session supervisors to vary tone, pacing, and delivery across different takes and scenario types.
  • Maintain consistency and professionalism across multi-hour recording sessions, managing stamina and vocal performance across the full session block.
  • Communicate with production coordinators in working-level English for scheduling, briefing, and session logistics.

What You Bring

  • Professional voice acting or voice-over credits with verifiable studio recording experience.
  • Native or near-native fluency in Spanish with an authentic Spain regional accent, and current residency in Spain.
  • Comfort performing dialogue-driven and conversational material, with the ability to sound natural rather than performed.
  • Working-level English sufficient for production communication and session direction.
  • A background in broadcast, podcasting, audio drama, or improvised performance is a practical advantage for this format.

Why This Role

JR Spain is contracting voice talent for a defined, short-term engagement with no open-ended obligations, making it a clean fit alongside existing bookings or other production commitments. The project is tied to work with leading AI research labs, giving voice actors tangible credits in an area of audio production that is growing in scope. Compensation is competitive for contracted studio work, and there is stated potential for additional sessions as the programme expands.

Apply now for the Voice Actor, Spanish (Spain) position with JR Spain and bring your studio experience to a production format that puts authentic performance at the centre of the work.
