VideographerPosition OverviewProject Type: Onsite videography (B-roll + Interview)Location: Newark, NJ (construction zone near Newark Penn Station – exact location TBD)Timing: March 12- DURATION TBD (expected 1/2-day shoot)We are seeking an experienced videographer to co-shoot B-roll and a filmed interview at a press event highlighting the collaboration between our transportation client and NJ Transit. The interview will feature a conversation led by the Director of Communications with the company’s President and NJ Transit President & CEO, speaking about the completion of initial critical “cutover” work enabling train operations on the first track of the new Portal North Bridge.This will be a fast-paced environment with filming inside or near an active construction zone.Key ResponsibilitiesCapture high-quality B-roll of the event, construction activity, rail operations, and relevant press visualsCo-shoot an interview setup with another videographerCapture clean, consistent audio for the interviewCoordinate effectively with onsite teams, including Amtrak and NJ Transit communications staffDeliver all raw footage same day or next day via cloud storageRequired EquipmentCanon or Sony cinema / mirrorless camera capable of 4K log recordingGimbal for stabilized motion shotsTripod for interview framingLavalier microphones (wired or wireless) suitable for dialogue in a semi-noisy environmentBackup batteries, media cards, and standard accessories expected for a professional shootQualificationsPrior experience filming at transportation, infrastructure, or construction sitesStrong lighting and composition skillsAbility to work safely in active work zonesExperience capturing executive interviewsStrong communication and collaboration skillsIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
