Videographer

Job Scope:

Work with the Creative Director to capture, direct, and edit videos according to the creative direction given.

Individual should harness certain level of experience in:

• Video production
• Camera operation
• Film lighting

Variety of projects including:

• Events
• Short films
• Social media videos

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities

• Plan camera shoot with Creative Director
• Operate camera
• Ideate with creative team on upcoming projects
• Maintain equipment and ensure serviceability
• Edit video projects according to creative direction

Additional Tasks

• Data wrangler for studio needs
• Updating/suggesting equipment upgrades
• Assistant to producer and director of each film

Events To Support (Not Limited To The Following)

• Theatrical productions
• Church services and religious events/classes
• Weddings and receptions
• Conferences and seminars
• Exhibitions, art installations, and static set displays
• Recordings and filming

Job Skills

• Proficient in editing software
• Proficient in operating video cameras

Candidate will be accountable to superiors on sensible financial decisions that will maintain ready operations and ensure business continuity.

Requirements:

Education/Professional Qualification

• Relevant professional certification

Preferred Skills/Experience

• A mixture of practical and creative video skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Patience and concentration
• Creativity and the ability to communicate effectively and work well on computers
• Good eye for detail, along with strong visual skills, coordination, and time management skills
• Other personal characteristics such as: dependable, accountable, meticulous, neat
• Proficient in FCPX
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite

• Proficient in written and spoken English
