Job Type
Alpinestars is hiring a Videographer/Editor – Motorcycling based out of Torrance, CA. This role sits inside the Creative Communications team and is responsible for producing and editing brand campaign videos, social content, technical product videos, and sizzle reels across multiple distribution formats. It suits a post-production professional with a background in branded content or apparel marketing who is equally comfortable behind a camera and inside an edit bay.
About the Role
The Creative Communications team at Alpinestars handles the full production workflow from concept through delivery, working alongside athletes, partners, and internal stakeholders to build brand storytelling across motorcycling and beyond. Day to day, this person moves between scripting and storyboarding, hands-on shooting, motion graphics production, and supervised and unsupervised editing sessions. The role covers a wide range of output including feature campaign videos, BTS content, and social-ready formats built for multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and edit brand campaign videos for web, social media, and marketing channels, managing each project from pre-production through final delivery.
- Build motion graphics, animation, and composited sequences using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro as core tools in the post-production workflow.
- Work directly with the Creative Director and Creative Communications Manager to gather project requirements and integrate feedback at every stage of production.
- Serve as an on-set shooter for video initiatives, including primary camera and behind-the-scenes coverage on location and in studio.
- Maintain edit bay equipment, manage media storage, and oversee archiving of raw materials and final project files for both in-office and field use.
- Source and manage motion graphics assets, music licenses, and graphic templates across concurrent projects from multiple internal teams.
What You Bring
- Four or more years of professional editorial experience producing high-end branded content or apparel campaign videos.
- Advanced skills in the Adobe Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop, with strong motion graphics capability.
- A portfolio that demonstrates full campaign video production, including compositing, keying, sound editing, and formatting for multiple delivery specs.
- Physical production experience on location or in a studio environment, including lighting and camera operation.
- A bachelor’s degree in Video Production, Animation, Motion Graphics, or Multimedia Design, or equivalent professional experience.
Why This Role
Alpinestars is a recognized name across motorsport and action sports, which means the branded content produced here reaches a genuinely engaged global audience, not a generic consumer market. The company offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with company match, product discounts, and paid time off. Compensation for the Videographer/Editor – Motorcycling position is $75,000 to $85,000 per year based on experience.
