Videographer & Content Creator

Focus 5 Recruitment is hiring a Videographer and Content Creator on behalf of a growing consumer brand based in Leeds, England. This role sits within the marketing department and covers end-to-end video production workflow, from concept and shoot through to edited deliverables across social media and digital campaign channels. It is best suited to a content creator with a commercial eye who has built a portfolio producing video content for D2C or consumer-facing brands.

About the Role

You will be embedded in the in-house marketing team, producing video and photographic assets across multiple brands rather than on a single production. A typical day moves between pre-production planning, on-location or studio shooting, and post-production editing, with output spanning short-form social media content, product launch videos, and customer story formats. When not on set, the role is office-based in Leeds.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit video content optimised for platform-specific formats across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Own the full content production workflow from creative brief and shoot planning through to final delivery and platform upload.
• Produce video assets that directly support lead generation, customer acquisition, and brand awareness objectives across multiple campaigns.
• Capture photography and create visual assets for use in digital marketing campaigns and promotional activity.
• Monitor social media content trends and emerging formats to identify creative opportunities that improve audience engagement and performance.
• Support product launches and promotional campaigns by developing concepts in close collaboration with the wider marketing team.

What You Bring

• A strong portfolio demonstrating video production, editing, and storytelling across social media and digital marketing campaigns.
• Proficiency in professional editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable post-production tools.
• Previous experience creating content for D2C or consumer-focused brands, with measurable engagement or campaign outcomes.
• Photography skills and the ability to produce stills-based visual assets alongside video deliverables.
• Solid working knowledge of social media platform requirements, audience behaviour, and content formats across short-form and long-form video.
