Videographer

Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries is hiring a Videographer based in Waco, Texas. This role sits within the marketing department and is responsible for end-to-end video production workflow, from field capture and studio shoots through post-production editing, color correction, and motion graphics delivery. It is a strong fit for a working videographer with corporate and nonprofit media credits who is comfortable owning a production from setup to final export without a dedicated crew behind them.

About the Role

The Videographer at Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries handles all in-house video production across marketing campaigns, mission-driven storytelling content, internal training materials, and live event coverage. On any given day, this person might be rigging lights and operating camera for a studio shoot in the morning, then cutting a social media deliverable for YouTube or TikTok in the afternoon. The role also covers A/V support for corporate meetings and events, making technical versatility a real requirement here, not just a line on a posting.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture, edit, and deliver video content across multiple formats, including marketing campaigns, training materials, and mission-focused storytelling pieces for both internal and external audiences.
• Execute studio and field-based video productions, managing shot setup, lighting rigs, audio recording, and creative direction independently.
• Complete post-production workflow tasks including editing, color correction, and motion graphics using Adobe Premiere Pro and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
• Provide A/V setup, operation, and troubleshooting support for corporate meetings and special events, including teleprompter operation.
• Maintain an organized digital asset library and perform routine inventory and maintenance of all studio and A/V equipment.
• Secure and manage media consent documentation for all individuals appearing in produced content, maintaining strict confidentiality standards around participant information.

What You Bring

• Minimum two years of hands-on video production experience covering camera operation, lighting, audio, and post-production editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, plus web publishing tools such as WordPress.
• An associate degree in Film and Digital Media or equivalent, or a combination of education and demonstrated production experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record meeting liability insurance requirements.

Why This Role

Heart of Texas Goodwill Industries produces a consistent volume of media content with real community impact behind it, giving a Videographer steady production work across narrative, documentary-style, and corporate video formats. The position offers meaningful variety across the full video production workflow rather than locking you into one narrow task. For a videographer looking to build a well-rounded reel while working independently in a stable organizational environment, this is a legitimate next step.
