Videographer

We Are Fr Group is hiring a Videographer based in Manchester to join the in-house creative team at one of the UK’s most recognised hospitality groups. This is a content creation role sitting within the marketing department, focused entirely on producing short-form video and photography assets across multiple venues and brand channels. It suits a videographer with a strong editorial eye who is equally comfortable shooting food and drinks content in a controlled setup as they are capturing live entertainment in a packed venue.

About the Role

You will be embedded within the marketing and venue teams, producing social-first content across Instagram Reels, Stories, and other digital channels for a portfolio of well-known hospitality brands. A typical day involves heading out to venues to shoot food, atmosphere, guest moments, and live events, then returning to edit and build out a library of assets that feeds ongoing campaigns, seasonal activity, and venue launches. This is a pure production role with no social media management responsibilities attached.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot short-form video and photography across multiple venues, capturing food presentation, drinks, live entertainment, and guest experience for social-first content production.
• Edit Reels, Stories, and other short-form video formats using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and the wider Adobe Creative Suite.
• Build and maintain a structured library of video and photography assets that supports campaign planning across the group’s brand portfolio.
• Work directly with marketing and venue teams on campaign briefs, event coverage, seasonal shoots, and new venue launches.
• Apply knowledge of pacing, music selection, captions, and visual storytelling to produce content that performs well within Instagram’s algorithm and content formats.
• Monitor emerging trends in short-form video content to keep the group’s output current across its social channels.

What You Bring

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in videography, content creation, or a closely related production role.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or comparable non-linear editing platforms.
• A portfolio or showreel that includes short-form video work and photography, ideally across food, drink, hospitality, or lifestyle briefs.
• Strong on-camera instincts in live, uncontrolled environments where lighting and timing cannot be fully managed in advance.
• Solid understanding of composition, natural and artificial lighting, and food photography presentation standards.
