This role sits within the content production team, responsible for shooting and delivering video content across live events, branded productions, and digital distribution outputs. About the Role

The Videographer operates within the content department, producing material that spans live event coverage, promotional video production, and ongoing digital content series. Interstate travel is a regular part of the role, meaning shoots vary week to week in location, scale, and format. A typical day might involve prepping a camera kit for a live keynote, logging and selectively editing footage, or colour grading a short-form piece for online release.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera on location across live events, interviews, and branded video production shoots, managing your own kit prep and on-set setup.
• Handle all stages of the post-production workflow independently, including ingesting, logging, cutting, colour, and export for multi-platform delivery.
• Manage audio capture on location using lavalier and boom microphone setups, ensuring broadcast-usable levels without a dedicated sound recordist.
• Coordinate with the Head of Content and Head of Production to align shoot schedules with broader campaign and content calendars.
• Travel interstate as required to cover events and productions outside Melbourne, maintaining consistent output quality across varied shooting environments.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, flagging servicing needs and managing consumables across an active shoot schedule.

What You Bring

• Proven experience as a videographer across live event coverage and branded content production, with a reel that demonstrates both camera work and edit quality.
• Proficiency in a professional NLE such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, including colour correction and audio mix to broadcast standards.
• Demonstrated ability to operate as a one-person crew across varied production types without on-set support.
• Strong understanding of exposure, lens selection, and lighting for run-and-gun and controlled interview setups.
• Availability for regular interstate travel as part of the full-time role commitment.
