Videographer

Finlayson & Co Oy is hiring a Videographer to join their in-house content studio in Helsinki, Finland. This role sits inside Content House, the company’s internal studio team, and owns the full video production pipeline across four Nordic lifestyle brands: Finlayson, Makia, Vallila, and Reino & Aino. It suits a commercially experienced videographer who has worked across studio, advertising, or social media production and is comfortable owning projects from brief to delivery.

About the Role

You join a small, structured studio team led by Lauri, working alongside photographers, a stylist, a graphic designer, and a copywriter to produce visual content across fashion and home goods categories. Day to day, you are shooting product and campaign videos, editing social media content, and contributing ideas directly to brand marketing leads. The production workflow spans both considered campaign work and faster-turnaround social content, and knowing when each approach fits the brief is central to the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit video content for product launches, brand campaigns, and social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, selecting the appropriate format and technical approach for each deliverable.
• Handle on-set lighting in coordination with the Studio Manager, with responsibility for the overall look of each production.
• Direct models and talent on set to achieve natural, brand-consistent performance without over-relying on additional creative support.
• Develop and execute video and shot scripts, taking briefs from the marketing leads and actively shaping them rather than executing them passively.
• Apply AI-assisted editing tools to improve post-production workflow efficiency while maintaining quality standards across all deliverables.
• Track trends across video production and social media formats and bring new formats or production approaches into the team’s active toolkit.

What You Bring

• Professional experience in studio, commercial, or social media video production environments.
• Strong technical command of camera operation, on-set lighting, and non-linear editing, with Adobe Premiere as the expected primary editing tool.
• Working knowledge of social platform video specifications and content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously and deliver against fixed deadlines without supervision.
• Fluency in both Finnish and English, written and spoken.
