Staff members engage volunteers through effective and timely communications, facilitating meaningful opportunities, and continually seeking and providing feedback for reciprocal growth and learning.Job Summary:The Video Editor/Videographer is responsible for capturing, editing and producing high-quality video content that advances organizational objectives through powerful storytelling, elevates the brand and engages the MS community.Main Responsibilities:Plan, shoot and edit video content that inspires action and engagement and advances organizational objectivesEnsure all video assets are high quality and meet brand & accessibility standardsDevelop video concepts and storyboards under direction of Sr. Manager, MultimediaCollaborate with Content and Creative team, and across broader MarComms team, to support the planning and execution of key initiatives and campaignsContribute to the logistical planning/production of onsite shoots, including casting, drafting of interview questionsBuild rapport and trust with video subjects to ensure positive experience and a powerful end result that brings people’s stories to lifeOperate cameras and audio equipment during shoots.Edit raw footage into polished final products using Adobe Premiere ProAdd graphics, motion graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance video quality.Project manages all video projects in AsanaManage video assets and files in accordance to defined standards and maintain an efficient post-production workflow.Monitor competitive landscape pertaining to branded video content.Collaboratively explores opportunities to leverage multimedia content in new ways and in new platforms.What We’re Looking For:3+ years’ experience in video editing/production of compelling, polished videosExperience shooting video, interviews, b-roll, planning video shoots, and managing audio and voiceover sessions. Knowledge of video composition and editing/shooting documentary-style videosKnowledge of what type of multimedia content works best on what platform, optimizing content accordingly, as well as understanding the different nuances of each platformAbility to think critically about content in context of overall marketing campaigns, brand messaging, business goals and voiceDemonstrated ability to organize and manage projects, prioritize work, and complete tasks within timelinesStrong interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and promote collaboration with others.Excellent written and verbal communication, both internally and appropriate for professional social media presence; strong customer service skillsExpert-level video editing skills in Adobe Premiere ProExperience with Adobe After Effects a plusStrong knowledge of social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, and othersProven ability to craft video content for a variety of platformsLocation Requirements:Remote – Flexible LocationWork is primarily performed remotely, however, when possible and necessary, teams meet in person to conduct the business of the organization and build team relationships.This role requires periodic travel to support on-location video shoots. While performing duties of this job the employee may be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch or sit for extended periods of time, and operate and/or carry equipment.Compensation | Benefits:The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $65,000-$75,000.
