Our client is a prominent visual artist specializing in environmental and landscape photography, renowned for capturing the profound beauty of the natural world. They are currently seeking a talented Video Editor who can craft viral-worthy social media content by creatively repurposing extensive archived b-roll and other recorded materials.

This role is ideal for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a knack for producing engaging short clips that resonate with wide audiences. This role includes performance-based bonuses.

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM – 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Select and edit compelling 10-second to 1-minute clips from a vast archive of b-roll footage, ensuring each piece captures the essence and artistic intent of the original work.
• Viral Content Production: Craft video content specifically designed to go viral, focusing on high-impact visuals and storytelling that align with the brand’s aesthetic and message.
• Project Management: Utilize Asana to organize tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Client Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with the client to ensure the artistic vision is accurately translated into the video content.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of video content, with bonuses tied to the viewership and engagement metrics.

• High Engagement: Your video clips significantly enhance the client’s social media presence, driving engagement and increasing followers.
• Strong Brand Cohesion: Each piece of content maintains the artistic integrity and vision of the client’s brand, reinforcing their reputation as a leading visual artist.
• Achieved Project Goals: Timely completion of video projects with a high rate of satisfaction both from the client and the audience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven Experience: Strong background in video editing, particularly with creating content for social media from existing footage.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with advanced video editing software and familiar with digital project management tools.
• Aesthetic Sensitivity: Ability to understand and convey the client’s artistic vision through video content.
• Prior Work: Experience working with North American clients and understanding their expectations and cultural nuances.
• Motivation: Driven by performance-based incentives, motivated to create content that achieves high viewership figures.
